In order to meet the strategic goal of building a world-class university and further improve the level of high-performance computing, a faculty delegation from the Computing Center, led by prof. Zheng Jun, visited Japan. They visited Tokyo Institute of Technology, University of Tsukuba, the University of Tokyo, and the Institute of Physical and Chemical Research from December 6th to 11th in 2015. The propose of the visit is to investigate the institutions' current status and future plan in information and high-performance computing construction. 

The visit achieved the expected purpose and gave the delegation members better understanding of the development of network construction, information construction and high-performance computing construction in Japan's top universities and research institutes.
