On the afternoon of January 22, 2018, East China Normal University and Casco Signal Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Shanghai. Many teachers and professors from ECNU attended the ceremony.

The signing ceremony of the cooperation was hosted by Vice President Jianhua Jiang from Casco. At the ceremony, University Vice President Zhibin Li highly praised the important contribution made by Casco Signal Co., Ltd. to the rail transit public utilities. ECNU and Casco has been in close cooperation for a long time, and this joint venture would deepen the collaboration between the two sides and further promote the industry development.

In his speech, President Haidong Yang from Casco introduced the products, business and operation of the company. He hoped that in the future, the company would be able to provide a practice platform for the university, and foster high-quality talents through the collaboration.

During the event, representatives of both parties signed a strategic cooperation agreement and unveiled the "Joint Research Center for Rail Transit Trusted Software and Industrial Control Security Technology" (referred to as "Technical Joint Research Center"), "Academician Expert Workstation", and "Graduate Joint Training Base".
